How would the Concepts change access?
Both of the Concepts would improve average access to jobs, compared to the existing (2019) network:
- With the High Ridership Concept, the average resident could reach 186% more jobs within a 45-minute door-to-door transit commute.
- For residents of high-social-vulnerability neighborhoods, they could reach 202% more jobs.
- With the High Coverage Concept, the average resident could reach 69% more jobs within a 45-minute door-to-door transit commute.
- For residents of high-social-vulnerability neighborhoods, they could reach 88% more jobs.
The two maps below show how this change in access to jobs, compared to the existing (2019) network, would affect different neighborhoods.
